With a Mediterranean look, this Moroccan bistro table can be integrated into any living style!

Our Moroccan pieces of jewelery are artfully handcrafted in harmoniously coordinated colors from glazed terracotta.

The wrought iron frame is stable and weatherproof, at the same time together with a mosaic plate they form a wonderful unit in perfect harmony.

Take a seat at a handmade mosaic table from Morocco and let yourself be carried away into the oriental distance!

24 inches = 60 cm diameter

We use Clay that is only found in Fes. Firstly, we take it from a place called "Ben Jellik".Then, we let it dry in front the sun. After three weeks, we break it into small pieces with a hammer and let it dry for an other whole day. Then We put it in the water for two days and clean it from rocks and unwanted materials. This process can only be done in Fez as it's the sunniest city in Morocco.
And Voila, the Clay is ready for use and we can shape it into any handmade products we want. Afterwards, we cook it for 8 hours in a temperature of
2000°C. And now the fun part is begun. We start painting the products with natural based colours that are taken from natural resources. Even brushes used are made from horses hair.
When we finish, we put some products to make them shiny and re-cook them for an other 8 hours in a traditional oven. We double baked the handmade products to make them ready for daily use and insensitive to water. You can put hot or cold water in them with no worries.

 
Manufacturing
Our mosaic tiles are subject to a high quality standard.

We will personally select you for your design on site in the ceramic stronghold of Fes.

Each of our Moroccan mosaic tables is entirely handcrafted.

An iron ring is laid out to cover the mosaic plate.

The individual tiles, which have a wide variety of geometric shapes, are chiseled out by hand and embedded in artistic patterns. A special challenge for the artisan is laying the mostly complicated mosaic patterns in the most varied of colors, shapes and finishes!

Each individual mosaic tile is placed mirror-inverted in the frame. Then the mosaics are poured with concrete.

⦁ Due to the high weight of the mosaic plate, no additional fastening of the plate to the frame is necessary.

⦁ The delivery includes a matching iron frame!

⦁ Moroccan mosaic tiles are water-resistant and easy to care for. However, these mosaic tables are not 100% frost-proof. Please store your mosaic table in a frost-proof place in winter!

⦁ The Moroccan ceramic tiles are fired in traditional ovens. Due to temperature fluctuations, slight deviations in the color nuances of the individual tiles are possible. This gives each individual mosaic table its own.

 Mosaic plate :
If the grout on the surface of your mosaic table wears off a little over the years due to the weather conditions, then please proceed as follows without any worries:

Buy normal grout in your desired color from the hardware store.

Mix some of it with water in a beaker. The consistency should be fluid enough that the grout can flow smoothly into the gaps.

Before use, please scrub your mosaic plate vigorously in order to remove all material residues without binding.

Pour the grout and use a sponge to spread it over the entire mosaic plate. Any excess grout material can be easily removed with a damp cloth at the end.

 Iron frame:
We also recommend treating the iron frame and the iron border of the table top with varnish, linseed oil or something similar every few years!

This means that your Moroccan mosaic table will have a long lifespan and will always look like new!
